You would never tell from Jennifer Fisher’s Instagram account, but she’s somewhat of a homebody. The thriving jewelry designer not only has a passion (and incredible skill) for fashion and cooking, but she also relishes in one tedious task that few can handle with grace: moving. “I love to move,” says Fisher, who is now living in her latest N.Y.C. apartment (she has lived in four total since moving to the Big Apple 16 years ago). And while the task of packing up your old living space requires one skill, decorating the next requires another—good thing Fisher is well-versed in both.
Though she hasn’t called her spacious Tribeca loft home for very long, there is still a lived-in coziness to it. Much of this has to do with the pattern-filled library and her impressive art collection that she has amassed over the years. “When I was younger and got my first paycheck, I didn’t want to buy bags and clothes—I wanted to collect photography,” she says.
The bedroom, on the other hand, is the epitome of zen. With wall-to-wall off-white carpeting and furniture, the monochromatic space creates interest through various textiles in shades of ivory and gray. It’s definitely an ideal spot to relax and detach in, especially if your waking hours are as active as Fisher’s.
